Marriage and music events attended this summer

Check out my Twitter account for seven new tweets posted this morning about our summer.

5-20-2012: Mary Park, mountain dulcimer & autoharp player and teacher, and I got married.

7/23-28/2012 we visited Mountain View, AR, Folk Music Capital of the World. As a result I created five new pages:
We had an absolutely fabulous time and we plan on going back there regularly in the future.

My Facebook page is still inaccessible

Sorry, but my Facebook page is still publicly inaccessible.  The zero response received from my April 29th post and plea for help proves that nobody in the world knows how to make my page public.

How to make Facebook page public?

"This content is currently unavailable - The page you requested cannot be displayed right now. It may be temporarily unavailable, the link you clicked on may have expired, or you may not have permission to view this page."

Can anyone help me make my page public so everyone can see it?  Now, only those who are logged into their Facebook accounts can see it.  HELP, please!

12-23-2011: My Social Networking Sites

These are the Social Networking sites I maintain and log into only every two or three months, so there is no point in my having "friends".  I maintain the 1,000+ page "Folk Library Index", http://www.folklib.net/ , and that is all I have time for.  Note, I respond to E-Mail sent to "henkle@pobox.com" ONLY.  Any attempt to contact me via this Blog or any of the following will be ignored.

And one more, which exists, but is not currently accessible.
I have no clue how to make this page "public":

12-07-2011: How to pronounce my Web site's URL and site name

My microphone now works, so I can finally record the word I invented in 1995, "folklib", as a contraction of "Folk Library Index", (http://www.folklib.net/).  Please go to the following for the Official pronunciation of my Web site's URL, and it's short site name, "FolkLib Index":

11-08-2011: List of Paintings by Marco Sassone

Since 1995 my site has included details about recording and performing musical artists only.  Until now, I have had no information about physical artists, painters, sculptors, etc.  However, because of the special interest my late mother, who lived in California, had in his work by saving so much information about him, I have just created an alphabetical list of named paintings by the Italian born, 1967-2005 California based painter, Marco Massimo Sassone.  He has since moved to Toronto, Ontario, Canada.  The artist's Web site, http://www.marcosassone.com/ , lists all of his Serigraph prints in 1975-1998 date order, but not in title order, and some, but not all, of his other original artwork.  Extensive searching on the Web came up empty for the prior existence of such an inclusive list, which initially includes over 300 titles.  My page has a link to every painting with a separate page on his site, as well as scans of many Sassone items saved by my mother.  I hope others who are interested in his artwork will find something of value on my new page,

People sure like to waste their time.  I've been retired 9 years, just turned three score & ten, and I'm still getting LinkedIn job offers.

I was off-line from last Thursday morning, 09-01-2011, until this afternoon, and I'm going back off-line tomorrow noon through Saturday.  Being off-line frequently for several days in a row is going to be my new "normal" for the foreseeable future.  So don't expect frequent postings here or even daily updates to my site like I have been doing for the past 15 years.
Had a great time at Fox Jazz Fest,  http://www.foxjazzfest.com/  , in Jefferson Park in Menasha last Saturday and Sunday despite the intermittent rain.  The best treat was unexpected from the short set by grade schoolers who attended the Fox Valley Consortium String Camp taught by cellist Matt Turner,  http://www.folklib.net/index/wis_jazz.shtml#Turner,Mt  .  Each student on violin and cello played a short (15 seconds to a minute) solo.  Outstanding was a 12 or 13 year old violinist, Alicia Mose, from Kaukauna.  She has played with the Fox Valley Symphony, and also plays mountain dulcimer and hammered dulcimer.  Expect a great deal from this young lady in the future.
